The 27^th Australian Premier Working Dog Auction will be held
Sunday 11th June, 2023.

The first Working Dog Auction was organised by the local Apex Club and held at the local saleyards in 1997. It resulted in a total turnover of $6,120.

Fast forward to 2021 and a working dog sold for a new record-breaking $35,200!  And in 2022 we offered 53 quality dogs which saw an overall turnover $407,100, with total amount of working dogs sold at the annual Casterton auction now in excess of $3.6 million – not bad for a small voluntary community group.
